Welcome to The Okavango Delta! One of the last truly unspoilt wilderness areas in Africa, it remains one of nature’s marvels, characterised by the gentle flooding of endless plains. The northern areas of the delta feature larger expanses of savannahs punctuated by lagoons and tributaries, and it is on the banks of one of these that a magnificent site has been selected for Kadizora Camp. Beneath a majestic stand of trees and along a peninsula, commanding uninterrupted panoramic vistas of the delta.
Kadizora Camp is situated between the Vumbura River and Selinda Spillway. It lies in the remote northern part of the Okavango Delta overlooking a panoramic seasonal floodplain. Giant Marulas, Sycamore figs, Jackal berries and Rain trees provide a canopy of shade throughout the camp. The bar, lounge, reception and dining area form a horseshoe shape around the sandy fire pit. From there, a decked walkway leads you to an inviting swimming pool with a view over the floodplain.
Kadizora Camp truly offers the ultimate Okavango Delta experience, with a wide range of activities, a beautiful location, diverse wildlife and warm, local hospitality.
As you fly over the Delta to Kadizora Camp, you will experience breathtaking scenery; please have your camera ready! Kadizora Airstrip is only 10 minutes from the lodge.

Welcome to The Central Kalahari Game Reserve!
Nothing can prepare a visitor for the sheer size and immensity of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, nor its wild, mysterious beauty. There is the immediate impression of unending space, which gives the impression of having the entire reserve to yourself.
Waist-high golden grasses stretch to the horizon, punctuated by dwarfed trees and scrub bushes. Wide and empty pans appear as vast white stretches of pancake-flat earth, meeting a soft, blue-white sky. At night, the stars are genuinely awe-inspiring, utterly dominating the land with their brilliance and immediacy.
During and shortly after good summer rains, the flat grasslands of the reserve’s northern reaches teem with wildlife, which gathers at the best grazing areas. These include large herds of springbok and gemsbok and wildebeest, hartebeest, eland and giraffe. Silver Terminalia sand veldt, Kalahari sand acacias, and Kalahari apple leaf dominate the landscape, interspersed with grasslands and dotted with occasional dunes, pans and shallow fossil river valleys.
Initially established in 1961 to serve as a sanctuary for the San people in the heart of the Kalahari (and Botswana), the Central Kalahari Game Reserve still provides space for traditional lifeways, without intrusion or influence from the outside world.
Deception Valley, located in the north, is one of the reserve highlights due to dense concentrations of herbivores that gather to feed on the sweet grasses that spring into life after the rainy season. Naturally, these animals attract the usual itinerant predators.

Recalling the liquid sunsets of yesterday, know that your footprints now lie on ancient elephant paths. May you never forget the profound sense of space and the calm rhythm of this natural world. And so we say “Go well” but not Goodbye because, as R. Elliot rightly said, “If you only visit two continents in your lifetime, visit Africa – twice!”
