BOMA
This venue is an outdoor restaurant that is built into two sections being the upper boma and the lower boma. At the centre of this we have a lovely bonfire area which is semi-circled by a sitting area where guests can sit and relax and watch the stars from there.

It is also an open area and next to it is two of our lovely pools, one for the kids and the other for the adults, moreover you can have a view of our lovely mighty Chobe River and part of the Capri Strip and Zambezi channel from this point. This is why it also serves as an excellent area to host afternoon lunches because of the spectacular view.

The nights are great because of the ambience we are able to create in this outdoor space. We can always make it super exciting with music or entertainment depending on what your guests wish to have.

AFRICAN VILLAGE
Almost like the Boma but adding onto the African touch is our rustic African Village venue. Normally here we always like guests to experience the African way of life for the native people of Botswana and that is why the venue is in deco with the traditional huts, Cattle Kraal, traditional grain storage huts, Kgotla/traditional customary court and Lelwapa.

With this venue we always go the extra mile by providing the guests with a full Setswana traditional way of life from serving starters such as the traditional beer, biltong and traditional nuts to displaying food in traditional three legged pots to serving the actual traditional food in the traditional enamel plates and cups.

We always like to have traditional dancers perform, the local dancers from the Kasane region display their traditional dance too (Seperu), marimba and a one man band performance. At this venue there is always a bonfire made as well.

SPA LAWNS
The Spa lawns are magnificent in the sense that they are very close to the river and view is of excellence and it’s a lovely quiet place for guests to enjoy and relax. The ideal feel of this can be glitz and glamour looking at the location it’s been placed.

Nevertheless, we like guests to decide what they wish to have on this one since it’s a flexible venue, not meaning the rest are not.

BUSH VENUE
Deep next to the golf lawns and next to the river as well we have the bush area. Its location is marvelous for picnic sites and also we host dinners there too. Since it’s a little bit far from the hotel we normally transport the guests there with safari vehicles.

And because of its flexibility we are always open into making it traditional or whatever theme the guests want. Just like the spa lawns its nice and quiet and the layout is always magnificent with lovely tables and chairs nicely accompanying the venue feel. Like the rest of the venues we can always add the bonfire to it and a little touch with a speed braai is always great.

SAVUTI BAR
The best place to see an excellent view of the sunset is at the Savuti bar, where one can enjoy sundowner cocktails at the sight of the Caprivi Strip. This venue has a lovely lounge sitting area where one can sit and relax and the bar provides a snack menu for one to enjoy a quick nibble while relaxing. It comes also with a fire place which provides warmth during winter while one enjoys drinks

SERONDELA
According to the local people they say Serondela means a place where wildlife comes to drink water together. Here at Cresta Mowana it’s a place where we come and enjoy great food/meals.

This restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience with a lovely Terrance that opens up to the view of the Baobab tree and windows at the back that offer a full excellent river view. Buffet and A la carte menus are offered at this restaurant and its spaciousness allows it to be easy to host more people in it.
