The two Signature VIP suites are detached Cape Dutch units with thatched roofs. The suites boast all the luxury of a presidential suite, including a beautifully decorated, comfortable lounge area with a couch and chairs, coffee table, desk, and television, a dining area with a table and chairs, and a sumptuous bathroom with double vanities, a separate toilet, shower, and spa bath.

The spacious bedroom features a queen-size bed and its own television set, opening onto a small private garden. It can be closed off from the lounge and dining area with sliding doors. Each unit offers a sunny, north-facing patio with a table and chairs, boasting views over the estate.

Options to book a private picnic or intimate dining experience at your suite can be arranged through our reservations department.

We provide secure parking at the suites, which are connected by landscaped pathways to the main hotel and conference buildings. A porter service is available upon request to drop off and pick up your luggage upon arrival and departure.

The 42 spacious Executive rooms are housed in a stylish double-story contemporary Cape Dutch building. The rooms offer luxurious, elegant interiors with a subtle mix of soft furnishings, ambient lighting, and modern furniture.

Each room features a workstation, a comfortable daybed, a flat-screen TV, a sumptuous bathroom, and a separate toilet. Some of the ground-floor rooms open onto a patio and garden, while others only open onto a patio leading into our gardens. The first-floor rooms have balconies.

Within the Executive suite building, we offer a suite designed and adapted in line with Universal Accessibility requirements. This suite also provides the use of an interleading bedroom, ideal for families or to accommodate a caregiver. Additionally, we offer a Superior Luxury room that has been designed and adapted to meet Universal Accessibility requirements. Both rooms are spacious ground-floor rooms and are easily accessible. Kievits Kroon has three dining options available, each one different in style and ambience. For an unforgettable dining experience with a difference you can enjoy a specially arranged candlelit dinner, enhanced with soft ambiance lights under our famous Kievits Kroon Tree situated on the main lawns, complete this experience with specially arranged background music carefully chosen to compliment your taste. Unique to our property we offer an exquisite picnic experience on the estate lawns at Kievits Kroon.

Restaurants:

Our Granita Signature Restaurant offers a selection of Elegant dining Table D’Hôte menus, paired with a multiple award-winning wine list. Our Kingsley A la Carte Restaurant offers a variety on international cuisine as well as themed evenings, depending on occupancy levels it also offers an exceptional a la carte menu, including Keto meal options as well as Vegetarian options.

In addition, the Lord Charles venue is situated on the first floor and offers a variety on dining options for a more private event experiences or large restaurant group, in addition to its magnificent position, it offers lounge seating leading onto verandas with a grand view of the estate – all housed in Cape Dutch-style architecture buildings.

Our Executive Chef and the kitchen team will gladly assist in meeting any special dietary requirements in order to exceed your dining experience.

Bar Areas:
Kievits Kroon also has three bar areas and The Veranda serving a variety of delectable beverages including freshly brewed coffees, assortment of herbal infused teas, as well as a selection of the finest cigars.

Outdoor Dining:

Uniquely to our property, we offer an exquisite picnic experience on the estate lawns at Kievits Kroon or experience the signature view at sunset of our magnificent estate from The Veranda in front of the Manor House veranda adjacent to Granita and the Library Bar.

Lord Charles Restaurant, Lounge and Bar:

Lord Charles can seat up to 80 guests at round tables, making it an ideal venue for smaller functions. The restaurant lends itself to both formal and informal settings and offers either a buffet or set menu.

Two balconies lead off the venue with beautiful views over the estate. The adjacent Lord Charles bar is available to your guests but cannot be booked exclusively. Soft background music only is permitted in this venue.

Library Bar:

With its comfortable couches, cosy fireplace, bookcases providing plenty of reading matter, and daily morning newspapers, Library Bar offers more than just a venue for cocktails before dinner.

Located in the Manor House adjacent to Granita, Library Bar has an extensive liquor menu ranging from a Classic Mojito to a Tanqueray Gin Gibson, as well as a range of signature Martinis, coffees, teas and a selection of the finest cigars.

The walls of the Library are hung with a collection of contemporary South African art which can be purchased by guests and is changed every two months.

Lord Charles Lounge:

The Lord Charles Lounge is a warm, inviting area for hotel guests to enjoy a drink or relax in front of the fireplace on cooler days and evenings.
