  • Johannesburg City Tour in South Africa
After pick-ups, we make our way to Constitutional Hill in Braamfontein for a guided tour of this iconic institution. Constitution Hill is a living museum that tells the story of South Africa’s journey to democracy. The site is a former prison and military fort that bears testament to South Africa’s turbulent past. Today, it’s home to the country’s Constitutional Court which endorses the rights of all citizens.

Mandela Bridge and Johannesburg CBD
We cross over the striking Mandela Bridge on our way into Johannesburg CBD. Named in honour of Nelson Mandela, the 284-metre long bridge is the largest cable-stayed bridge in South Africa and links two significant business districts.

Driving over the bridge, you have a good view of the famous Telkom Towers. The decommissioned telecommunications tower was built in 1971 and stands 270 metres tall.

Your guide gives you an orientation tour of Johannesburg, pointing out historic sites and heritage buildings. This includes Newtown Junction, Mary Fitzgerald Square, Gandhi Square, and Luthuli House.

Carlton Centre
We get out in downtown Johannesburg and take a lift up to the top of the impressive Carlton Centre. The 50-storey, 223-metre tall skyscraper and shopping centre is the second-tallest building in Africa. From the ‘Top of Africa’, you have a panoramic view of the city of Johannesburg and the northern suburbs. After an exciting morning or afternoon in Jozi, your guide drives you back to your accommodation in Johannesburg.

Includes transfers in an air-conditioned tour vehicle; Constitutional Hill entrance fee.
