Cruise The Chobe In Style

Our luxury CHOBE STYLE cruiser offers two decks of couch- style seating and whether topside or below there’s 360-degree viewing to search for the vast herds that comprise Africa’s greatest collective gathering of elephant.

She’s perfect for private or corporate groups of up to 18 guests, enabling an intimate camaraderie as the vessel gently navigates along a 3-hour-long route that encompasses the game-abundant banks and inlets of the fabled Chobe River,- where the ‘Famous Four’ (elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard) gather instinctively along with giraffe and zebra and a wide variety of large and small buck species. Enjoy close encounters with honking hippos and lurking crocodiles as the boat glides along the expansive Chobe flood plains.

The possible presence of at least 460 bird species promises a pure nirvana for twitchers…and binoculars are a must to make the most of observing their quaint individual behaviours and characteristics. Our crew is close at hand to offer warm hospitality and attentiveness, whilst later serving finger snacks and delicious hors d’oeuvres.

What to Pack? Binoculars will always enhance any game-viewing experience and will be a real boon for bird lovers, who will be more than thrilled with the many species that come and go in this region. You will of course come with long lenses for greater distance images. Don’t forget extra batteries. Sunscreen and lip balm are more than helpful in these dry conditions and carrying ‘wet wipes’ are ideal for freshening up your face, neck and hands. Sunglasses will soften the glare – especially in the middle of the day. Do bring along small packets of tissues. In cooler months (periodically late May through September) we advise bringing a jacket, jersey or shawl. We offer blankets and ponchos.
