We know all too well that when you come to this beautiful area, it’s not just to stay in a luxury lodge. We know you are here for the animals and we have crafted various day activities that operate from the hub of it all, Kasane. Our activities all use our own guides and vehicles, we do not hand you onto anyone else, where is the fun in that? As a family business we live in and love this area, we only create activities that we would enjoy ourselves. When you book an activity with us you know we have done it and loved it. We hope you find what you are looking for, but if you don’t please use the chat system or drop us a mail. Enjoy!

Chobe Boat Cruises
Why choose us for your Chobe Boat Cruises? Simply because Boat Cruises sit right at the heart of Flame Of Africa. Boats have been our passion since we started over 25 years ago. Our first day cruiser boat called Hakuna Matata meaning “no worries”. We feel that this moto has been echoed through our history and forms the moto that we still live by today. We now run a fleet of over 35 boats in three different countries. This gives us the ability to design a cruise that suits you. Cruising the Chobe River should really be a “no worries” moment, leave the rest to us and just enjoy the moment.
Browse through our various Chobe Boat Cruise activities that take place on the Chobe River in Kasane. No matter what your budget is, we will have a cruise to suit you. Choose to cruise either in the Chobe National Park or down towards the new Kazangula Bridge. The confluence (two rivers that meet) is also where the four countries meet which is often referred to as the four corners of Africa.

Chobe Game Drives
Our guided Chobe Game Drives give you the very best introduction to the Chobe National Park. This Park was officially established in 1967 and is 11,700 km². This makes it the third largest in Botswana. It is famous for its huge elephant and buffalo herds along with a very healthy lion population. Expect to see these animals along with others in abundance. We use various routes on our Chobe Game Drives to maximise your time with the animals and minimise your time with other vehicles.
Our Game Rangers will explain the flora and fauna of the area along with various information on the animal species and habitats. We can offer private game drives for a surcharge where the vehicle and guide is exclusively yours, or jump in with others and hear a bit of their exciting adventures.
Your park entrance covers you for a full day. why not enjoy a little longer in the park and do either a half day or full day game drive? The more time you have in the park, the more chances you have to spot that leopard with cubs or the ever elusive aardvark.

Our unique CHOBE EXPLORER could well be described as a ‘moving liquid lounge’, because that’s sure what it feels like as you glide along the fabled Chobe River in search of all that real, raw Africa we expect you to experience. The middle deck is a veritable ‘comfort zone’ of soft couches, laid out for maximum interaction with your fellow cruisers. Africa’s true ‘Eden’ on the Chobe River.
A glass of tempting ‘bubbly’ sets the tone as we set off from the Cresta Mowana Jetty, presenting us with small or large herds of elephant, giraffe, buffalo and many varieties of antelope.
Hippos honk nearby and crocs lurk right beneath our decks, evoking a wonderful sense of ‘danger’, whilst we’re actually perfectly safe. The bird life is heavenly, with more than 460 species making their presence felt at various times of the year.
Meanwhile, below in the galley splendid aromas begin to waft upwards, signalling an imminent barbecue-style lunch that awaits you on the lower dining deck. Later, relax topside in lie-back loungers, soaking up the unique colours, aromas, sounds and scents of the truly magnificent, one-and-only Chobe National Park.
